Amy Winter

Amy started her journey with us at the beginning of 2016. She completed her training here to become qualified as a registered veterinary nurse (RVN). Amy loves monitoring anaesthesia, trying to win over the grumpier patients and canine behaviour. She has a keen interest in feline nursing and is our ‘Cat Advocate’ ensuring your cats get the very best species-specific visits! In January 2023 she became our Practice Manager. Her role is now split between managing the practice and leading the nursing team.

Amy has a Cocker Spaniel, named Digby, who you will often find snoozing behind reception! Outside of work, she enjoys walking holidays, beach trips, camping, photography and seeing live music! She loves learning and is always undertaking some form of qualification to improve her knowledge – currently she is just finishing up a Feline Nursing Certificate.
